胡开奇(Kaiqi Hu),戏剧翻译家,戏剧学博士,上海戏剧学院马文·卡尔森戏剧中心教授,哥伦比亚大学戏剧学院访问学者。

Kaiqi Hu is a renowned drama translator and scholar, holding a Ph.D. in Drama. He serves as a professor at the Marvin Carlson Theater Center at the Shanghai Theater Academy and is a visiting scholar at the Columbia University School of the Arts. His significant contributions to drama include the translation of numerous acclaimed works such as Sarah Kane: Complete Plays, Michael Frayn: Complete Plays, The Pillowman: Collection of Contemporary British Masterpieces, Doubt: Pulitzer Prize Drama Collection, The Goat: Selected Plays by Edward Albee, Crave: Selected Masterpieces of Contemporary British In-yer-face Theatre, and Lost: Selected Masterpieces of Contemporary American Drama. Additionally, he has translated The Linnan Trilogy, The Aran Islands Trilogy, The Heavens, Red, Oleanna, God slayer, Art, and Blackbird, among others. His work is integral to the understanding and appreciation of contemporary drama in China.
