Professor Peter Eckersall is a professor and Executive Director of the Department of Drama and Performance Studies at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. He also holds an honorary professorship at the University of Melbourne. Engaged in contemporary performance practices in Oceania and Europe, he has a particular interest in Japanese performance and theater. Additionally, he serves as a playwright for Not Yet It’s Difficult (NYID), based in Melbourne, Australia.
